The background info on the Kagune is one of my favorite parts of this volume. Im excited for Vol 7 already but before that comes out in June be sure to get your copy of Vol 6 and learn moe about the Ghouls and Kaneki’s fate. Things get intense after this and it will be very interesting to see how the Manga differs once we get further into it. This is the part of the manga to reaches the end of the first season for the anime. What he doesn’t know is just how much he is about to suffer. Kaneki has only one choice, go back with them or everyone suffers. Banjo comes in to break Ken out, but their escape plan is met with disaster as Aogiri found out. After being taken to the head of the Aogiri leadership, they find Kaneki useless to them and he is thrown in a cell. Juzo gets a detailed lesson in Ghoul anatomy and how their kagune work. All the additional juicy details that get dropped. This just goes to show you why reading the Manga is so important. There it felt more like he drew them on his skin rather then actually stitching them. Its something I wish they put into the anime but didn’t. Juzo continues to piss off all of his superiors and weird out the others, the part where he decides to show us how he created his body stitches was creepy. Upon finding Kaneki, they take him only to realize during the fight that he was one-eyed much like their ‘king’. Touka comes face to face with her brother who doesn’t want anything to do with the human world or his stupid sister. The 11th ward is rocked by the ghoul gang known as Aogiri who comes in seeking Rize or someone who smells like Rize. TOKYO GHOUL © 2011 by Sui Ishida/SHUEISHA Inc.
